You need to use bluehost. They are fantastic!

Go to my blog and click on the referral link (I'll get a little kickback) but they really are the absolute best in the business!

I've been super happy with them and host a dozen or more sites with loads of room left.

It's all about good questions. In today's schools much time and energy is spent at tackling the prevention of plagiarism, if only that same focus was applies to the questions being asked and the assessments being given. Everyone would be better for it.

Hey Jeff - nice reflection and comments. I really keyed in on the fad part as it related to what we're all doing with edtech. Products, spaces, methods, etc are all coming out so fast that one just might get a little dizzy trying to maintain focus on what is new and useful, a copy of somehting else, flashy and cool but off the topic of education and on. The constant feed from my own Netvibes pages keep me off balance in a tidal wave of content - there is a lot to digest while remembering that I must keep a pragmatic focus that actually gets a day's work done in the classroom. :-)

So close your eyes, think of those days when you can make snow forts the size of clubhouses... this would be the weather I am enjoying right now!

So as I close my eyes at night I will think of warm sand between my toes and a piece of fresh fruit to eat.

I love Jamie MacKenzie's work. I wish I could attend his seminar this summer, but the timing just isn't right.

There's nothing wrong with a nice, fun, small-scale project to finish off the year! Not every project has to be a huge in-depth monster like the Teen Life project our 8th graders are doing, they just need to have some insightful questions leading students to meaningful discovery behind the work. I could spend weeks just thinking up the right "essential questions" for a unit. Questioning is an art....

Please do submit any ideas to the Tech in the Middle wiki. I really do need to get focused back there, but because my new position in Bangkok is Elementary, I'm starting to think smaller and smaller (in terms of child size, not ideas).
